What is a sound bath or sound immersion?
Imagine being immersed in beautiful sounds that are healing to your body, mind and soul…
Wait, a bath?
No, you won’t get wet. No tub involved. The bathing is figurative.
Instead of warm water & bubbles, you “bathe” in the sonic vibrations created by musical instruments like Tibetan & crystal singing bowls, gongs, bells, and chimes.
Know before you come…
Our sound bathing experience involves laying down on your back on a yoga mat or blanket in savasana (corpse pose), with or without supporting props like bolsters and pillows, with your head directed toward the source of the music.
The idea is to be as comfortable as possible, please bring your yoga mat, pillows, blankets, and/or an eye mask—anything you want to help you feel comfortable!
Music has been used for thousands of years to heal and energize the body, mind and emotions.
Sound healing is a form of vibrational medicine and is based on the scientific principles that all matter and the cells in our bodies vibrate to a precise frequency when healthy and to a dissonant frequency when in dis-ease.
The singing of tuned, deep-vibration chakra crystal bowls @432mhz during healing and meditation can balance these dissonant frequencies and bring them back into harmony.
Each bowl has its own purpose and energy, from ‘the grounding bowl’ to ‘the heart-to-heart bowl’, aiming to elicit different emotional responses in us.
The sounds interact powerfully with our bodies, cleansing and rejuvenating us at the deepest level; physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
We can begin to process and release blocks, come to deep physical relaxation & reduce stress and anxiety.
Some people have feelings of strong or unexpected emotions during or after their sonic sessions some even feel the need to laugh or cry.
Every sound bathing experience is sure to contribute to your personal growth, transformation, and self-awareness.
