Written by local award winning playwright Stacey Rose, The Danger: A Homage to Strange Fruit is a theatrical symphony structured into four movements. The play examines the legacy of white supremacist patriarchy and violence against Black bodies through the eyes of lost souls in a dilapidated railroad waiting room. Over the course of this week, Stacey will be working on refining the plays structures and some to the characters stories.
